Great Achievers-1

I was recently watching a technical DVD and was impressed with the introduction of a person given by the Scientist. Here is the explanation (In more or less the same words as spelt out by the Scientist).

  • He was born in 1642 at Woolsthorpe, UK.
  • Lost his father even before his birth and left with his Grandma who brought him up for 7-8 yrs from 3.
  • At his twenties, he started reading 4-5 books on mathematics that he took from the Cambridge Library.
  • 6 months later he started making significant contribution to mathematics. In 18 months, he was the greatest mathematician alive.. staggering just after reading 4-5 books on Mathematics.

- He is the great mathematician Issac Newton.

[Watch out for more Great Achievers in the future.]
